Local Foodbanks Donation Requests

Seaham Youth Centre - 7th January, 2021

WE NEED YOUR HELP - But it needs to be done in a COVID-19 SAFE WAY

We have been back 2 days and both days our FOODBANK has been wiped out.

WE REALLY NEED HELP WITH FOOD DONATIONS to keep up with the need.

BUT WE DO NOT WANT TO ENCOURAGE EXTRA PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR HOMES!!!!

Staying home = Staying Safe

If you can grab a little extra on your essential shops and drop them at the centre on your way home, this would be a great help.

(Centre open 10am-2pm Monday to Friday)

MASKS MUST BE WORN WHEN DROPPING FOOD DONATIONS AT THE CENTRE, we have a drop off point at the main entrance, no building access required.

* Can one person drop and leave straight away, to allow us to keep our entrance clear and ensure households do not cross over. But know we are very grateful for all donations *

Together we can do more

Operation Flanders - 13th January, 2021

After another week filled with horrendous negative news we are wanting to get to 120 addresses on Saturday. Hope and motivation.

We need your help, as always, to add to the fantastic support given to us over the last week.  We are in desperate need of plastic shopping bags, tins, pasta sauces and anything you can spare... as long as it is safe for you to do so.

The people we are visiting often have ‘no one’ to look out for them or cannot leave their house. By providing some goods and nutritious meals, it’s often enough mental stimulation to motivate them and at least one hot meal to get through the next few days.

Please help if you can.

We also have some lady and baby products as well as pet food donated should anyone need them.

This week has seen 25 bags of goods, several ready packed shoe boxes with essentials, toiletries and varied items in bulk donated with love.

Thank you very much

We are at Flanders, Seaham 10 am to 3 pm Thursday/Friday and Saturday

Please stay safe.

Thank you
